[snip]Maybe my Work is completly useless in face of the existing Procon and other clients....[/snip

Far from it, your program is really one of the easiest ones available right now. It is doing exactly what most admin want it to do without all sorts of additional things that most people wont miss. My group at Mappers United use rconNet program for the senior admins simply because of some of the higher level features. I like it but for ease of admining a server I found that your YARCC is much more comfortable for my other admins to use. I used it the other night as well and was very happy using it compared to the other program.

You have a winner going with this so stick to it.

We run a couple of BF3 servers now so a nice feature would be to have the option to save both to allow us to jump quickly from one server to the other.

Im currently using version 1.3.4 and it appears to be quite stable.

I like the option now to store more than one server.
I like the notice that a new version is available for download.

Version 1.3.5 is available and I downloaded it without issue but when I went to use it there was an error message that stopped it from loading. See the image below.

A short feedback......

YARCC release 1.4.5:

- YARCC supports Aftermath.
- Reworked playerlist for better human readability. Unnecessary data like the Origin ID are swaped with playerscores. The Origin IDs are stored internal for full ban functionality.
- The VIP player list got an own form.
- Reworked updatefunction.
- Renamed buttons and functions for better understanding.
- Reworked and optimized network connection to reduce the server utilization for YARCC.
- Display errors with Windows Aero Themes are fixed now.
- Bugfixes i don´t remember anymore.

Today, YARCC V1.5.0 gone online!

This YARCC release includes a profile editor to save complete server settings, including maplist and variables, into a file.

With the "Activate on server" function it´s possible to activate your presets within one click on your desired server.

Feel free and create your own server presets for every task you want....

Hi there

sorry for my bad english i'm dutch.

First i wanna thank you for this great little program.
Until now i have one issue:

When i want to backup our running maplist the program gives a error in the text message box saying "acces error".
likely its possible that i am doing something wrong, except i thought it would automaticly go and save the running maplist to the backup.

As a suggestion:
We have some members in our clan without the new mappacks. For us it would be a big help if we could give in a preset maplist from our lokal pc in the server.
So we can easely switch the rotation of our server.
maybe it is possible already but i got this program 2 days ago so ....

Well i hope you can give me an answer and solution thank you and keep up the GOOD work/program.

Hello

your "Access Error" is server based, it means your server has maybe insufficient privileges to write the maplist file to the harddisc.
Maybe an already existing maplist file is write protected on your server hdd. Btw. I never heard somebody with that kind of problem before... Please talk with your gameserver provider.

You can create server presets including maps and server variables for every task. Use Server Profiles -> Profile Manager. With a mouse "right click" on an already saved profile gives you the necessary functions.

The development goes on....

Yesterday, i finished the base of YARCC Relay.
YARCC Relay is a server layer for YARCC Clients with user
account controlled packet handling. This server layer is included
in YARCC Client, so everybody is able to setup a controlled connection
to his Battlefield server and makes YARCC to a hybrid solution. I wrote
a packet routing map mechanism to handle all Clients through a single
client connection to the Battlefield server. This idea reduces network traffic
and packet scheduling for the Battlefield server significantly. serverInfo and Playerlist
will be buffered and answered to every client without polling
each time.

Further, ingame admin and auto admin for team balancing,...etc
will be implemented. And yes, YARCC will support BF4

I know this is an old thread, but anyone got a link to the latest copy of this program?

It seems the author's site ( http://www.david-seay.de/yarcc/ ) is down, and the download from the original post is version 0.9.8b where the latest version according to the thread author is at least 1.5.0.

From what I can see this seems like the perfect tool that I have been looking for. A simple, lightweight interface that doesn't seem to use any .NET stuff. I haven't disassembled it, but it looks like it might use MFC which is just perfect for my purposes. Lightweight and should work on most Windows versions.

If the author could even make it open source (for exaomple, on github) that would be even more amazing :)

Just wondering. If not no big deal, I currently use PRoCon and was toying with the idea of making my own utility to interface with the server, but have not yet due to the potential headaches and tight schedule.
