It will "have PC support" Activision said. Only to them the term PC = "Personal Console" :p

p.s. btw - so when will the "Dedicated Servers" bombshell - um, I mean "discussion" take place anyway - so we can get that whole thing over already? :p

They initially told us no dedicated servers (via their PR division, aka Kotaku) but after all the hype BF3 got they said they're looking at it.

Assume no servers.

Lets hope the guys representing the PC ask questions and don't take BS for an answer.

TBH does anyone really care about CoD anymore? There are too many good games being released this year that actually have the PC platform in mind while in development. Not how much $$ they can get out of MS's xbox division.

Which then brings us to, all the xbox exclusives their PC and PS3 customers will have to wait for. When will the customer say enough is enough and put their money where their wallet is?

For me CoD died when MW2 came out. CoD4 was the last great CoD game on PC.

Only thing I'm interested in MW3 for is the SP to continue or finish up the story. I will wait for a good steam sale or better yet borrow it from one of my Xbox buddies :)

Yep - renting it for a few days can do also, SP campaign usually done in a few hours... I will pick it up on PC for the SP, much like i did for MW2.

I think there is still people out there who think that IW are going to do a u-turn and pay more attention to the PC platform. I am sorry to say that it looks like they won't. You can take the Xbox exclusive event as a prime example that they are only interested in one gaming machine.

You also have to look at the Community Manager, Robert Bowling. I just don't believe that he is interested in all platforms that gaming studio he works at produces.

Maydax is right Call of Duty 4 was the last great CoD game because it played very well and looked great at the time. I however lost interest in the game due to the game modes not being my cup of tea and being more of a Battlefield player, but I could still see why some people loved to play it publicly and in matches.

I never played MW2 for obvious reasons, so I can't comment on whether it was any good or not, but from then on in the games just seem the same to me. You will still get people on the PC buying it and if they enjoy it well good for them, but I for one will pass. Until I see some good communication from a better CM at IW and some new innovations to CoD game-play (can be new objective modes etc for example) - I won't be buying their games.

Agreed. Regardless of PC news, the entire thing is the now traditional IW/ATVI "Mushroom PR" strategy: its our game, WE tell you how its going to be when WE want, very close to release that is. Until then, you get nothing :p
