Map Rotation Problem: OBJ

I can't seem to get my OBJ maps to automatically rotate after a certain amount of time. I just want it to rotate all maps after 20 min. It loads the first map then never moves. Does someone have to be in the server for it to rotate because I just can't get it to move? Here is my main config (minus the map rotation which is in a separate config):

Off the top, I don't think you can force it to do this. The objective basic script does not kick off until you have a player on both sides to start the clock. Then the time limits can kick in to declare a winner if the server empties. But on the next map start, its the same story again.

I did find one thread with a suggested approach. But no one replied back to confirm if it actually worked. It should be easy enought to try though.

I try searching and I never find the same stuff you find. Oh well.... I’ll try this cvar and let you all know. Once again, in Call of duty (the other type of server I can host with ease) this is not a problem.

Nope, set sv_minplayers "0" is a no-go. Just one last question, I think. Is there any other type of game type that will make the shelling on the beach like in obj? I like the effect and I only know of it in OBJ mode but I have never tried another. Oh yeah and today (July 28, 2006) at about 11:30am EST (-5 GMT) I got my full drivers license!:D :D :D Yea for me!

Hey, congrats on the drivers license (as I quietly park the car inside the garage for the weekend) - heh heh.

Those explosions are in the map. It may be the map detects the gametype its in before turning them on or off, but its the map itself that has to include them.

In theory, you could add them to any map or gametype you want. But that is a topic better suited for modtheater where they talk about making maps, skins, weapons, etc.

And for searching, go to the Medal of Honor top level forum list before starting your search and then put in all the relevant terms. If you search in just the BT or SH section, you miss a lot of good stuff since the expansion packs are just based off the basic MOHAA game.
