How is IW.net this time around?

I had a very difficult time enjoying MW2 because IW.net just did not provide a strong enough connection to play without lag. Probably because I live in a remote area.

Does it seem to be better this time around or is it about the same?

The reason why I ask, is because I am still on the fence about whether I want to buy this game or not.

On a side note, I am hoping that Dedicated servers will bring back some of the clan appeal.

Seems the same to me...runs smooth for a while then a huge lag spike and you're teleported some distance in the map, but overall pretty consistent...this game plays better than BO on my PC...I just hate the FOV...it sucks.

For me in Ireland finding games in Lobby takes forever, typically 3-4minutes and sometimes more. Actually gave up each time and switched to Dedi.

Agreed, I tried it a few times and had no problem getting in a match. Brats on their mics chased me away, and I spent the rest of the day on servers.

FOV makes my eyes hurt though. I really hope they patch it.

Servers show up fine now....I never had any filters set...just the default settings. One thing I noticed is that hardly anyone is in the servers...I found about 1800 servers and 300 players in them last night...I did get in one server for a couple of maps and it was a slower pace than playing P2P...I liked that...but hated the HC respawn wait of 10 seconds on the Kill Confirmed and TDM gametypes...
