On Friday and Saturday night, sometimes Sunday night, our voice server often breaks down and stops working. Our game server gets very laggy, to the point where if I reduce the number of players to less than the number of slots I pay for, then it gets OK again.

Anyone else have such problems?

Which is the best GSP for BF3 and Teamspeak?

I'm really really really tired of Gameservers' utter crap service.

Please help,

Thanks

I had my 20 person TS3 server there for a very long time now and I don't remember having many issues with it. There were a few times when it went down for a few minutes, and the occasional hardware failures (which they announce).

Have you considered changing server locations? Maybe you would have better luck with it if there's one close by.

I have been with GameServers for a few years now, hosting BC2, CSS, BF3, TS3 in that time to name a few. My experience has been that where GameServers really shines is their customer support and the response times related with that service.

You need to bear in mind that the computing world will never be perfect; computer systems will always break down at some point, and in the case of game servers this is far more relevant as few resources are dedicated to dedicated server development and as a result the efficiency of most multiplayer serves is pretty bad; through no fault of your GSP.

So in conclusion, lay out the situation to GameServers. Politely let them know that you have been having serious issues and ensure that you list out what you would like to happen. It is important that you express yourself, as you cannot expect a support team which has hundreds of open tickets to read your mind.

I have moved to NFO and am really liking them much better than GS.

Thanks for the advice! :D
