You should post details like is this server hosted with a game provider? Is this a home server? If so, what operating system are you using? What mod are you trying to run? Are you using custom maps? What version of Call of Duty 2 are you using?

Providing details gets answers :D

Sorry i forgot to post these infos.

Ok well i am making a Garena host and there is no problem.I already have a mod (in "main" folder because i don't know how to make an "fs_game" folder) which displays messages on the screen.

My game version is 1.0 (i don't want to update it because many people on Garena use that version). My OS is Windows Vista.

The bad thing is that i can only put 1 mod in the main so the game only runs 1 mod.I tryed to put 2+ mods but either the game stuck at loading screen or gives errors.

About the mods,it could be anything but compatible with my version.

For more info, please tell me :)

So, you are trying to setup a CoD2 server at home using Vista?

You need to start the game, click Start Server, setup the server the way you want it. You will need to Google which ports to open on your home firewall so your server can be seen on the Internet.

If you are using one mod then no need for an fs_game folder. Since CoD2 v1.0 does not have a http redirect capability I would not put mods on it. Go v1.2 or better v1.3 for running mods.

If you want to use the 2d mod then it is best to combine the two mod .iwd's into one .iwd.

Read, read, then read some more. No one is probably going to do it for you. Taking time to learn how to set this up will be invaluable later :)

Here's a handy looking program I found at Filefront. Not sure how good it works but worth a try for what you are trying to do :)

About the ports,i think it is ok because i only start my server and then people can join in.It is some kind of lan.

I though about combining two mods in one but i don't know how.
I saw some people using more than one mod and they were using garena to attractive people to join.

The most players you can host at home will probably be around 8 players. You should consider paying for a CoD2 server from a game hosting provider. They can give you a v1.0 CoD2 server. What makes that better is they will set it up for you and the ping is great for players compared to your home PC which will not be good at all so players would not play your home server when they have great ping at hosted servers.
