One of my favorite mods, these guys do some amazing things. I guess I'll reinstall BF2 (have not because of a disk swap).

Maybe I'll play this instead of buying any new games that are coming out over the next few months.

Well the torrents have both downloaded, taking around an hour twenty. They are on the big side at 1.35 + 1.93 GB. Loads of Seeds and peers in the swam so you should get the files in good time. Remember to keep on seeding for as long as you can.

I do love the quality of the work that goes into this mod, but I often find it falls just short of fun. The game seems based around optimal situations. Of course there will be 64 people on the server and of course they will be working as teams. When this naturally doesn't happen, you get very long runs, deaths out of nowhere and few chances to use the fun assets. Of course this is no different than RO in many ways, but the runs are much longer so sometimes it does feel worse.

My #1 issue with this mod was always that rebolting your weapon put it back at your hip and made reaiming quite a chore. I prefer the COD 2 or RO way of rebolting to obstruct vision, but without dropping to hip. Mod has great animations and it always bothered me that they went the way of dropping to the hip.

Anyway, looks great and good to see them still plugging away for people who enjoy it.

You need the latest version of Battlefield 2 patched up to 1.5 and you also need the two torrent files. The password to the rar files will be released on Oct. 1st.
