I wasn't going to do this but it has been so long sense i have talked to him i feel it is time to tell everyone what happen. I felt like this was his business to tell everyone if he wanted to or not but its been long enough. He worked very hard on foresight and i don't want people thinking he had ditched them or gave up on them. Ok in the beginning of January his place burnt down. Him and his kids where not there when it happen so they are all safe. He asked me to leave a message telling everyone he would be gone for a few weeks from family issues. He also told me he had just backed up his source code on to his flash drive the night before so it was safe and he would be able to continue his work once he got back on his feet. He told me all of this only a few days after it happen and he was staying at a place that the city set up for him and the people that had lived near him. He was using a wifi connection he picked up on his work laptop. I have not heard from him sense then.

Dayammm.... That seriously sucks!

I lost everything I had in an apt. fire about 5 years ago - just moved into the new place and had filled out the paperwork for insurance... but not yet paid the first premium ... and 2 days later the place burnt out while I was at work... with the insurance papers sitting on the kitchen table...
Because I hadn't actually paid the premium I was not yet technically covered and lost about $35,000.00 worth of stuff!
My wife and dogs were ok, but If it wasn't for friends and family and the kindness of strangers, I would have been livin in a cardboard box in the middle of a particularly nasty Canadian winter...
I sincerely hope that he is finding the support that he needs and if he has the time and the ability, he will stop by and let us know how he's doing.
