Ok I seem to be great at editing guns, but when it comes to the smoke and nades I run into trouble. 1 I want to make the smoke nade last longer and 2 I would like to reduce the kill radius on the grenades or weaken the blast. How do I go about doing this?
under models/fx you will find tik files for the different grenade explosions. In there, you will find radius damage and radius values to set. t affect the damage, look under models/projectiles for the various granadetype_base.tct fiels. In there you will find hit damage values to set.
I was asked to make grenades harmless (or nearly) and had good success using those.
As to the smokes, taking a look at their base.txt suggests that the client controls that as much as the server. You could try modifying the spawn life and life settings, but I suspect it will only work if the client also has the mod.
Guys, i need put only 1 grenade of fragmentation and 0 smoke, can help me?, i have one mod but only works if REALISM MOD is of, if i put ON the REALISM MOD the english and russian soldiers born with 2 grenades of fragmentation, why?????????
