Works pretty good, but ran into one issue. I cannot get it to see more than 16 players in the drop down box for kicking. Is there a setting I missed?

Also ran into one more thing. After kicking a player, it will not kick another player without shutting down and restarting the cotrol panel.

Haven't heard those issues yet, but I'll look into it. Do you have broadband or dialup?

Reason I'm asking is because that list is given 2 seconds to populate from an rcon reply, and if rcon isn't back in time it continues on without the rest.

I see all 20 players, I've seen a 32 player serer running with it also, but I can see that a dialup user may have problems.

Let me know, because if you have broadband then obviously the problem would need some serious look-see :)

Thanks for the quick check in Cpl Punisher.

I am on broadband DSL with 768 up and 768 down. I will also try downloading again. Maybe my download was slightly corrupted.

Nice program works really well. I can't figure out how to get it to stop spamming your team name everytime a command is ran though. Is there a work around for that?

It does? Are you running the latest version and not the beta?

The only thing it does in respect to "spamming" is that the odd command it will announce what the software is. "DivCon v1.0: ....."

It only does this on some commands, and randomly displays sometimes during automessages.

But the team name doesn't get spammed unless it was the beta version.

Actually, that is probably what happened. I was thinking that was your team name that was displayed. Well and good then. Wasn't really that big of a problem anyway.

Is there any way to have the [DIVCON] programm updated too ?
(for the new features...)

Thanks

It doesn't show more than 16 players sometimes due to fragmented pakets and firewalls. Most firewalls by default disallow them. It's the same issue with the /rcon status command not listing at all in the ingame console.

I'm currently getting together a version for 1.2

The firewall issue is a lie btw. Sure it prevents you from listing sometimes in-game but Divcon doesn't. I have never been able to get it to work in game but yet Divcon always worked for me and never chopped a packet, showing that the solution to the Rcon problem is a simple math fix for the in-game console.

Anyways DivCon2 is under development, news coming soonish.

There's a ton of apps that do what DivCon did, and are 1.2 compatable. With all that the patch screwed up or changed, DivCon is back on hold.

HOWEVER: In between the clan website, the band website, the other bands website, and promo for 4 bands including those two, and the kids... it's hard to find time to work on something that is already available in other packages......

That being said, DivCon2 wont "just" be a control panel. It's a whole lot more. So far I've built the server which will allow clan members to log in and manage the server based on their specific access, but also comes with a clientside executable that you can force on people who want to play on your server.

The way it works is that it lets them play for an hour then kicks them, redirecting them to the download page for the client. When they run it and reconnect you as an admin have access to their screenshots, as well as the names of all files in their CoD folder and blah blah blah.

It's a side project, the server is running, and works, the clients connect but so far do nothing else :p

Expected release date, once the CD and the promo and my website is done maybe I'll get a date :p
