Did you pre order or just part of the battle.net? I could not find a way to get a key as a battle.net member.

I tried it out and it didn't urge me to buy it that's for sure (Especially at $79 for the standard edition) . All the issues that pushed me away from COD starting with MW2 still exist.

The 12 player games or less are boring for me. I truly miss the ability to host 24 or even 32 player games from CoD4. Yes the maps were not really designed for that number of people but it was some the best TDM matches I've played. At least we had the option to customize a server back then whereas now the developer controls everything and it's based on matchmaking and lobbies.

I never got into Battle Royal so I doubt Blackout will change my mind but I'll try it in Sept. It's funny since I haven't played a multiplayer game in over 2 years and instead stuck to single player. I'm more excited for Cyberpunk 2077 and DooM Eternal than the standard AAA shooters this year.

I spent a while trying to figure out if you could play without preordering. The wording of the release makes it sound like you should. However, I think you have to preorder the game. Their definition of "Open" beta is not the same as mine.

I installed it without preordering it but I couldn't get it to load on my PC. I don't think I meet the minimum though as I only have a dual core running.
