Since the hack have a significant level of sophistication makes it very difficult for an administrator to detect dishonest players. Do the following query.
According to the EA's rules/ term of use, and depending on the discretional power, be can ban certain players only by applying the rule of "High suspicion of using hack"?
On our servers, is really very obvious players using pay hacks, all rounds with 60/80 kills and few deaths. so much black PBSS ...
What is the limit? PBBans, GGC, Metabans?
Do not we forgetting something?
change the paradigm? is now normal to play with cheating players?
...some really innovative suggestion?

The hacking problems with all games now including BattleField is indeed getting bad. On our servers our admins will remove players that we suspect or are positive of cheating. We have a KDR rule as well.

Since we have a lot of paying members of more or less the same skill level we decide who stays and who goes. We are not all that concerned to be honest with hackers since we take the stand that if a player is disrupting the server and making it absolutely no fun for our regulars (paying members or regulars) then we remove the offending player. Sometimes it is just a warning but if that is ignored, normally is, then we kick. If they come back and continue or get mouthy about it then we ban.

Think of your server as being your own. It is. You pay for it so it is perfectly fine to do what you want with it. If your fun or your members fun is being threatened then simply remove the player causing the problem. Remember that the hacker, disruptive player has not paid any money to play on your server so has no rights to act however they want. Set limits and enforce them. Dont get hung up on trying to decide if they really are hackers or not.

This works well on our servers. They are usually very busy and active. People have come to expect a fun game and we do our best to give that to them. Do all this while staying calm and avoid verbal fights with the disruptive players. You hold all the power and they have none.

Good Luck.

I tend to agree, we pay for a server for us to play on. If other people want to play with us then they can. However by doing so they are agreeing to play the way we wish them to play. So if they do anything that we think of as disruptive we will warn the player. So this is much more general than cheating, bunny hopping TK~ing potty mouth anything that pisses off clan members. There are plenty of servers out there, if visitors don't like it then they can find another server. If they really don't like it they can rent a server of their own.

As a general rule I dislike accusing people of cheating, to be honest there are so many players that are simply better at the game than me or most of my clan mates. If I were to ban everyone that played on the server that was better than me my ban list would be huge. As it stands our ban list is empty. We have asked players to change the way they are playing, we have suggested that they are not welcome if they continue. On occasion we have kicked players. Now I have no idea if these people were cheating. It may just have been that their play style was counter to the play style of the majority of people on the server and they were upsetting the other players. They would only have been kicked if they ignored a couple of warning...

Yup that is what we do.

Reasonable rules, enforcement and consistent admins. I dont like hackusations being talked about in the console either as it disruptive and can cause more troubles. We too have asked players to leave, find another server, because they are such good players that it was ruining the environment of the server.

Each admin/owner needs to decide what is ok for their server and to understand that 99% of the time it is going to be up to them or their staff to decide if someone is hacking or whatever and to deal with the disruptions themselves. You cant count on Dice or EA to deal with it.

All of the above is absolutely true. As an assist to manual adminning we stream to PBBANS as well.

Also a heads up that I3Dnet are beta testing Fairfight for BF3. Any I3dnet customers can apply to join the beta in their console.
